Environmental friendly "FireFilm-BF" special fire extinguishing foam for lithium battery is a unique chemical fire extinguishing foam. Especially for the fire protection of electric vehicles, energy storage equipment and other places using lithium batteries, the main fire factors of lithium batteries are structural defects，internal membrane rupture, improper charging and discharging control，impact，high temperature and other accident factors, which can cause high-density energy of lithium batteries to release in a short time and form thermal runaway, thus causing combustion and even explosion hazards.

The fire process caused by lithium batteries is concealed, rapid, energy released in a short time, and the concentration of toxic and harmful gases produced during combustion is high. Fire characteristics of lithium batteries:

So, lithium batteries fire with high temperature are more dangerous.

Traditional fire extinguishing foams such as foam, dry powder and gas have their limitations. Special fire extinguishing foams should be used.

The characteristics of "FireFilm-BF" integrated foam, dry powder and gas fire extinguishing foam are based on the fire characteristics of lithium battery. Various fire extinguishing principles are adopted to effectively extinguish the lithium battery fire.

"FireFilm-BF" special fire extinguishing foam for lithium battery is suitable for portable fire internal layer coating (50-100 mils).

Wet chemical are subject to evaporation which accelerates when the product is exposed to air. Storage tanks should be sealed and fitted with a pressure vacuum vent to prevent the free exchange of air. The recommended storage environment is within temperature range of 20℃ to 49℃.

It is recommended that FireFilm-BF not be mixed with any other type of extinguishing foam in long term storage. Such mixing could lead to chemical changes in the product and a possible reduction in or loss of firefighting performance.

Low temperature storage may cause crystal due low solubility.

FireFilm-BF is suitable for use in combination with foam compatible dry chemical extinguishing foams and foam liquid.
